Panic as judges issue directives on election petitions
At Masaka High Court, High Court judge Joyce Kavuma granted Kalungu West MP Joseph Ssewungu’s lawyers’ request to have a government laboratory expert examine declaration forms submitted by his election petition opponent Ismael Ssemakula.
Regarding the petition against the state minister for local government, Justine Nameere, the court has given Nameere more time to file a rejoinder to the evidence presented by Rose Nalubowa before the hearing of the petition kicks off.
