Nigerian Pastor Adeboye jets in for Pastor Patience Rwabwogo’s consecration

Pastor Adeboye, who is Pastor Patience Rwabwogo’s spiritual father, is one of Africa’s renowned Pentecostal church leaders and the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, which is one of the largest evangelical churches in the world. He also serves as the President of Christ the Redeemer’s Ministries.

KAMPALA - Nigerian Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye and his wife, Folu, are in Uganda for the August 23rd Pastor Patience Museveni Rwabwogo’s consecration of the Covenant Nations Church as an Episcopal Bishop.

On arrival at Entebbe Old Airport on Wednesday, August 19th, the couple were received by their host, Bishop-Elect Pastor Patience Rwabwogo and her husband, Odrek Rwabwogo.

The Kampala team also included: Bishop Dr. Moses Odongo, General Overseer and Archbishop of the National Fellowship of Born-Again Pentecostal Churches (NFBPC) and his wife, Pastor Betty Odongo, plus elders from the Covenant Nations Church and a team from the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Uganda.

The Adeboye couple are special guests at the consecration service of Pastor Patience Rwabwogo.

In brief remarks after jetting in, Pastor Adeboye expressed happiness at being in Uganda once again and thanked the Almighty God for making this possible.

He said this is his fourth visit to Uganda, and he prayed blessings over the nation, saying he believes that God will do mighty things for Uganda.

During his last visit to the Pearl of Africa in June 2019, he hosted a leadership conference at Kololo Independence Grounds and led a mega worship night themed “Greater Glory Has Come”.

A release from her office stated that while welcoming Pastor Adeboye and his wife, Pastor Rwabwogo expressed happiness at receiving what God has for Uganda from them.

As part of the activities ahead of Pastor Rwabwogo 's consecration, Pastor Adeboye will offer pastoral mentorship to Church Ministers on Friday at the Marriott Hotel, Nsambya.
The ministry session, according to the release, will be streamed live, allowing audiences to follow the proceedings beyond the venue.

Pastor Rwabwogo will be consecrated as Bishop on Sunday, August 23rd at Maya Covenant Nations Hill.

The event will also mark a dual celebration of the  20th anniversary of the Covenant Nations Church, which was founded by Pastor Patience Rwabwogo, and her episcopal elevation.

The consecration is expected to bring together church leaders, ministers, congregants, and other guests as Pastor Rwabwogo assumes her new episcopal responsibilities.

The event marks a significant milestone in the ministry of Pastor Rwabwogo and the Covenant Nations Church.
