Abeeka Band put up an electrifying performance from the minute they stepped on stage to entertain, on day one of the Bride & Groom expo.

The band thrilled the audience with powerful renditions of love songs starting off with Tarrus Rileys Song She’s Royal and Iryn Namubiru’s Nkuweeki in an almost one-hour performance.

The live music created a hypnotizing and captivating atmosphere. Each song that the band played was meet the cheers and the crowd singing along.

One thing was sure the band had done its homework and carefully selected songs for the crowd it was to entertain at the Bride & Groom Expo 2023, given the rapturous reactions each song sang received.

The Bands choice of Songs made their work easy as the crowd did most of the singing and dancing. The performance by Abeka band was simply dazzling and when they brought it to an end the crowd was cheering and still wanted more.

However, it was time for Chusa Wato dance group to also come on stage and entertain revellers at the Bride & Groom Expo. The youngsters equally captured the hearts of the audience with their superb dance performances.

After almost two hours of being entertained and blown away by beautiful performances and fashion shows, the Mcee could only promise more and even better performances to come on Day Two of the Bride & Groom Expo.

Day two belonged to the silk events Deejay after a charged-up Love coaching session at the Bride & Groom Expo.

The Deejay was so good at reading the audience's mood. He played the music to match.

He treated the crowd to a marathon of popular ‘love’ songs starting with the Nigerian musician Bayanni whose song –tatata- got the crowd so charged up. He also dropped in the mix Gravity Omutujju –okwepicha- and Alien Skin’s -sitya danger- to match the mood and send the crowd into a wild trance, with screams, cheers and dance.

Even when the crowd was expected to be seated waiting for the next act, they got to their feet, danced, sang along and cheered to every song played in waiting.

Those who were too shy to dance at least nodded their head to the music playing and smiled away in satisfaction.

The King herself Cindy was the main act of the night and also treated those in attendance to love songs to match the occasion (Bride & Groom Expo). She sang live but it seems the crowd did not know much about her new love song but partied on nonetheless.

However, each time she paused to tease and ask which song they wanted her to sing for them, it was obvious they wanted her to sing her hit song Boom Party. She later obliged to the delight of those who were yearning for the song.

Cindy kept teasing the crowd about bringing the show to an end saying mothers in the crowd would understand if she returned home early given she had only just given birth two months ago and the baby had turned two months on Friday.

Nonetheless, she kept entertaining the crowd with her Band Cindy.

Cindy brought her performance to a thrilling end with the song -ayoka-yoka- which was a breakthrough song upon starting her solo career after leaving the Blu3 group.

Kataleya & Kandle would entertain the guests on the final night of the Bride & Groom Expo. They would sing all their popular songs to a warm reception by the crow. The singing girl’s duo and their dancer looked dazzling in their colourful outfits. By the time they got off the stage, the crowd was cheering.

But that was not all some of the exhibitors thrilled buyers by bringing their own artistes as they showcased their bridal wear. Unik Bridals showcased its collection with an exciting performance from Iryn Namatovu.

The bridal world was not to be outdone as they showcased their gowns with a performance from Sandra Suubi. There were several other entertainers to grace the Bride & Groom Stage. Curious buyers were also treated to a 360-degree video experience to capture special events, as they danced to their favourite songs, and the New Vision CEO Don Wanyama delightfully gave it a try.

The quality sound, music and excitement in the crowd gave the feel of what superb entertainment is all about.

According to service providers, one of the main reasons to have wedding entertainment is to keep guests entertained and engaged throughout the occasion. Music whether it is from a band or Deejay is key for a wedding, which is a once-in-a-lifetime event.

The couple getting married has to go for the best services to create everlasting beautiful memories for themselves and their guests, and that is a lesson many couples picked from the thrilling performances at the Bride & Groom Expo 2023.
