Museveni receives credentials from five new ambassadors

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has received the Letters of Credence from five newly appointed ambassadors representing the United Arab Emirates, China, the Netherlands, Sweden and Germany.
The envoys presented their credentials to Museveni at State House Entebbe on Tuesday (September 1), formally marking the start of their diplomatic assignments in Uganda.
The presentation of credentials is a formal diplomatic procedure through which ambassadors-designate begin their official assignments in a host country.
The ambassadors are Fahad Abdulrahman Ali Al Bishr of the United Arab Emirates, Wu Guangrong of China, Angele van der Heijden-Samura of the Netherlands, Anna-Maria Olsson of Sweden and Sigrid Ingelore Luise Sommer of Germany.
