President Yoweri Museveni met with converts from the National Unity Platform (NUP) and members of the Federation of Uganda Taxi Operators (UTOF) at the Kololo Ceremonial Grounds.

The meeting was attended by NRM flag bearers, leaders from the Luwero Triangle, and several defectors from NUP, among them former prisoners who were released last year, including Muhydin Kakooza Sanya. During the gathering, it was revealed that the group had established a SACCO named the Bali Bali Group.
