A civilian is subject to military law if they are found in unlawful possession of arms, ammunition, equipment and other prescribed classified stores ordinarily being the monopoly of the army.

Following his conviction on Tuesday, Rogers Ssentongo will know how long he will spend behind bars when the General Court Martial sentences him next Tuesday.
