MPs Ssewanyana, Ssegirinya committed to High Court

The senior state attorney, Richard Birivumbuka, told the Masaka Chief Magistrate's Court on Tuesday that two suspects in the case would provide evidence that links the two MPs to the incidents behind Masaka killings that claimed the lives of 26 people.

State prosecution has finally completed inquiries into the murder and terrorism-related charges preferred against legislators Muhammed Ssegirinya and Allan Ssewanyana.

The senior state attorney, Richard Birivumbuka, told the Masaka Chief Magistrate's Court on Tuesday that two suspects in the case would provide evidence that links the two MPs to the incidents behind Masaka killings that claimed the lives of 26 people.  

The duo has been committed to High Court amidst their plea for medical attention.  The matter has been before Masaka grade one Magistrate Agnes Nantege.
