Miss Bukedde winner discloses plans for land, money she won

 Praise disclosed that she going to build a house on the land she won, and use the money to purchase school  requirements.

Praise Wisdom, the 15-year-old student who won the Miss Bukedde crown during season 3 of Mr and Miss Bukedde competitions at Wonder World, Kansanga on March 31,  has expressed gratitude to Vision Group for the opportunity to showcase her talent.

“This has been a great experience for me. I was shown on Bukedde TV and in newspapers, which promoted me," she said at a  press conference at Amani Studio in Mutungo-Biina, Kampala on April 8, 2024. 

The St. Andrew Kaggwa Secondary School student captivated judges and the audience with her melodious voice. 

She and Godfrey Mukisa Ssemakula, 26, a nursery teacher (Mr Bukedde), each won a land title plus sh5m.

Wisdom disclosed that she going to build a house on the land she won, and use the money to purchase school  requirements.

Wisdom, who began her music journey at four years old, disclosed that singers Juliana Kanyomozi and Rema Namakula are her role models.

Wisdom complained that she wants to be a gospel artiste, but is often sidelined.

"The chance is given to other known gospel artistes, which is the reason why I do covers for secular artistes," she said.
