Praise Wisdom, the 15-year-old student who won the Miss Bukedde crown during season 3 of Mr and Miss Bukedde competitions at Wonder World, Kansanga on March 31, reported at her school, St. Andrew Kagwa Gombe High School Kawala, on April 15, to celebrity treatment.

She and Godfrey Mukisa Ssemakula, 26, a nursery teacher (Mr Bukedde), each won a land title plus sh5m.

During the competitions, Praise captivated judges and the audience with her melodious voice when she sang Juliana Kanyomozi's Kanyimbe, winning the Miss Bukedde crown. It was no wonder that she returned to her school a celebrity

Teachers and fellow students gathered to welcome Praise, who arrived at 2:00pm in a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado.

They hugged her for the good performance on stage.

Some of her fellow students who shook her hands and hugged her vowed not to bathe just to retain some of her star power.

The director of the school, Kiwalabye Male, expressed excitement that his student, Praise Wisdom, had bagged a crown and is appearing in newspapers, on television stations and social media.

"We have a lot of talent in our school and what you have seen is just the beginning. We take talent and education as some of the weapons of success. Therefore, Miss Bukedde
season 4 again, we are waiting to retain the crown," he vowed.

On her part, Praise thanked God for giving her talent and Male for sponsoring her through school because of her talent.

"Bukedde and the entire Vision Group have made me what I am now. I am grateful and I cannot thank you enough that you have supported talent among the youth," she said.
