Mbale City communities embrace National Cleaning Day

MBALE - While most Mbale City residents embraced the new National Cleaning Day on July 25, 2026, compliance was mixed, featuring active community participation, police involvement, and some bodaboda and vendor defiance.
Huge crowds, mostly women, joined the early morning clean-up to give different areas of the city a "shine".
