The parishioners of Our Lady of Help Catholic church, Kkonge, have started a fundraising drive to renovate their church, which is currently in an unpleasant state. The sh250m campaign was declared by the parish priest, Fr. Denis Ssekamaanya, during the celebration of the 84th anniversary of the parish at the parish church in Kkonge, Mpigi district, last weekend.

“After 84 years, the church has certainly become very old, and the need to renovate it has become even more real than ever. Many things, including the windows and the doors, need replacement. The steps also need to be modified. We request you to contribute money towards the noble project,” Ssekamaanya said.
