Entebbe golfer Sean Kinsella hopes to build on his current form to register one of his best golfing seasons since starting in 2020.
During the April MTN Monthly Tees Tournament on Saturday, Kinsella returned 64nett to register his first overall win at Entebbe Club.
The handicap 16 golfer hit two birdies on holes 13 and 16 and came closer to even making it better, but missed another three birdie putts and chalked 7 pars to lead the field that attracted over 150 golfers.

“Overall, I was on fire today. The course was playing well today, and I have recently changed my backswing, and it has improved my game a bit, I just found today that I was just hitting them straight, the greens were good and everything about my game and the course was good,” he said after receiving his winners' trophy from the club chairman Jacob Byamukama.
“My weekly training on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday all paid off, and I’m proud and grateful to Entebbe Club for the quality of the course here; there is nothing like golf in Uganda and East Africa like golf in Entebbe,”

Having won the overall seniors gong after 12 months of action last year, Kinsella now wants to make it better in the main event.
“I won the seniors last year but this year I might be up there I’m in contention if I continue with the form I’m playing this month, and last month I might be up there,” Kinsella stated.
