Kazinda family petitions Chief Justice over delayed ruling

“Kazinda has had sleepless nights waiting for justice. This ordeal has not only taken a toll on his emotional, mental and physical health, but also on his community, who continue to bear the burden of uncertainty,” the petition reads.

Apart from the Constitutional Court ruling, on March 12, 2019, the Court of Appeal acquitted Kazinda on charges of forgery, 35 counts of making documents without authority, and unlawful possession of government stores.
