Kampala demonstration: 27 protesters charged in court

The accused are part of different groups around Kampala city suburbs who were protesting against corruption and were marching to Parliament.

The accused have been charged with common nuisance, contrary to Section 148 (1) of the Penal Code Act, before Buganda Road and Nakawa Chief Magistrate Courts and remanded until August 5 and 8, 2024. (Credit: Colleb Mugume)
