Kampala blogger Tabz arrested

Controversial blogger and National Unity Platform (NUP) official photographer of Robert Kyagulanyi, Andrew Natumanya, popularly known as Tabz on the X platform, has been arrested, according to close associates.
NUP’s Secretary General, David Lewis Rubongoya, announced his arrest. “We have just been informed of the abduction of Natumanya from Kamwokya a short while ago. He has been whisked away in a drone!”

He did not give details about the time of abduction or the persons who allegedly picked him.
Details on why he had been arrested remained scanty by press time, but security sources noted that they had received a series of complaints against the blogger ranging from blackmail, defamation and extortion.
