Justice Verma seeks family land row resolution

The development comes barely a week after her cousins, including Bunny Wallia, Johnny Wallia, Ronnie Wallia and Jassie Ahluwalia, petitioned President Yoweri Museveni to order an independent examination of the file and documents relied upon by the Administrator General to issue certificates of no objection to Verma to process letters of administration for the family land.

In a letter dated August 13, 2026, Justice Verma (Pictured), through her lawyers, Yehangane & Company Advocates, said her actions were intended to liberate the estates from people she claims have been enjoying them without any legal authority.
