BUL FC head coach Alex Isabirye has revealed that he will look for players with character to add to his squad.

This comes days after analysts advised BUL FC's technical team not to rely on the current crop of young players ahead of the CAF draws.

"I know that many well-wishers do not want us to put up a disappointing display in CAF. I have sat with the board and we have decided to track down a few names. Right now, we are on the lookout for players who will add a lot to the team. I am not looking for bench players. I am looking for players with character to add to the team," Isabirye said.

"I am simply not going to change a lot from my winning team as I search for 2 strikers, 2 defenders, a midfielder, and one quality goalkeeper. I want players who will suit my system of play and I am sure I will not disappoint my fans in Jinja."

Meanwhile, the club chairperson Ronald Barente disclosed that he is devising a system that will help the club start making its income through selling merchandise.

"We are thankful for Bidco Uganda Limited for injecting sh1.5b every year that has included also transporting club fans for away matches. I feel that we must devise alternatives in which the club can make its own money because you never know when things change in the future," warned Barente.
