Inside UPDF deployment in Gaza

Highly placed military sources have confirmed that Trump had tabled his request to President Yoweri Museveni under his Board of Peace to help in setting up the International Stabilisation Force (ISF) tasked with helping maintain order in Gaza. The source said Museveni had given a nod to the request. 

The request by President Trump to Museveni also comes in the wake of a decision by the United Nations (UN) Security Council, which in November this year adopted a resolution that endorses a peace plan for Gaza put forward by President Trump and a temporary international force in the enclave following two years of war.
