IGG hires firm to investigate Busega-Mpigi Expressway saga
The New Vision has exclusively learnt that the Inspector General of Government (IGG), Aisha Naluzze Batala, engaged the firm to provide technical support for her investigations into the matter as scrutiny intensifies over the project’s realignment, land acquisition and subsequent increase in the cost. When contacted, the IG spokesperson, Ali Munira, said: “We contracted the firm to help us on the issues of compensation and where the land is situated as part of the ongoing investigations into the matter. We have always done this in cases where technical support is needed.”
