Rohini Kalla, the chairperson of Rajasthani Association said the festival is about sharing care and love and uniting people together.

“Holi events unite us in love, and culture and even show our cultural heritage,” she said.

The festival was characterised by a display of the rich cultural fabric of the Indian Community, where they came together to celebrate diversity and unity. People including children, youth, elderly all engaged in a colorful game of spraying colored powder solutions known as “gulal” at each other.

While adults smear dry coloured powder known as “Abir” on each other’s faces, embody the spirit and culture of friendship. People were entertained and a live band from Bollywood fusion dance and Indian food was served at different serving stalls. There was also a raffle draw where lucky winners walked away with exciting prizes, including TVs and a return ticket to Mumbai, India.
