Hoima Sugar: out-growers halt supply over low prices
They said Hoima Sugar buys their sugarcane at sh140,000 per ton, yet other sugar companies buy at sh240,000 per ton.

Sugarcane out-growers under their umbrella body, Hoima Cane Farmers, have unanimously agreed to halt supplying sugarcane to Hoima Sugar until further notice.
The farmers are protesting low cane prices.
They
