Vision Group has recognised six major Ugandan and international institutions for their unwavering support and sponsorship of the Harvest Money Expo, over the past decade.
These institutions were honoured for their instrumental role in helping to uplift Uganda’s farming community through the expo.
The awards were presented at the Kololo Grounds in Kampala on Saturday, February 28, where the expo is being held from February 27 to March 1.


The recipients included the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries (MAAIF), Tunga Nutrition, DFCU Bank, Century Bottling through its Pepsi brand and ENGSOL, all of whom have been committed supporters since the expo's inception 10 years ago.
The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands received its award, which was presented to Ambassador Frederieke Quispel, while MAAIF’s award was presented to State Minister for Agriculture, Fred Bwino.
Vision Group CEO, Don Wanyama, said the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands had recently renewed its partnership, committing to a four-year extension that will further expand the expo's reach and impact.



Ambassador Quispel confirmed the new partnership, noting a contribution of sh4.1b for the next phase. The 10-year anniversary of the Harvest Money Expo also saw the recognition of 21 exhibitors and institutions that have consistently supported and showcased their products and services for at least seven years. The expo, which is marking its 10th anniversary, remains a pivotal platform for promoting agricultural innovation and growth in Uganda and is being held under the theme, Farming as Business.



The event is supported by key sponsors, including the Kingdom of the Netherlands, ENGSOL, Tunga Nutrition, aBi, Pearl Bank, Pepsi, and the Uganda Development Corporation. Other notable sponsors include Heifer International, Roke Telecom, the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries (MAAIF), and the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA).
