Gen. Kavuma commends Wazalendo on quality road construction

The Chairman Board of Directors of Wazalendo SACCO, Lt Gen. Sam Kavuma, has commended Wazalendo Investments Limited (WIL) for its commitment to quality service delivery, timely project execution and engagement with local communities.
Kavuma made the remarks while inspecting ongoing road construction projects undertaken by WIL in Kampala city and Wakiso district.
Kavuma, who was accompanied by the WIL Managing Director, Lt Col Wesley Aine, inspected construction works on Lugoba and Kazo roads in Nansana municipality, as well as Nakayenga and Kibutika roads in Makindye-Ssabagabo municipality.
According to a statement issued by the Uganda People's Defence Forces today (September 21), Kavuma observed that WIL was established as the business arm of Wazalendo SACCO (Savings and Credit Cooperative Organisation), with the strategic responsibility of generating sustainable value for SACCO members.
“WIL has a critical role to play in creating sustainable value for our membership. The board will continue providing the necessary support and guidance to enable the company to achieve its strategic objectives,” Kavuma said.

He urged staff to remain focused, professional and committed to excellence, noting that their daily efforts contribute directly to the growth and sustainability of Wazalendo SACCO.
