Electricity tariffs drop by 1.6% till end of March
According to ERA board chairperson, Dr Sarah Wasagali, the biggest beneficiaries of this tariff reduction are commercial and medium industrial consumers who got the highest tariff reduction of 1.8% and 2.8% respectively.

The Electricity Regulatory Authority (ERA) has reduced electricity tariffs by a cumulative 1.6% in this year’s first quarter as compared to what consumers paid in the previous quarter.
