As Christians prepare for Easter celebrations in various churches in the country, the churches have been urged to implement security measures to ensure the safety of their flock.

The advice was made by the general overseer Archbishop of the National Fellowship of Born-Again Pentecostal churches of Uganda, Dr. Moses Odongo, during his Easter message.

He also asked Christians to reconcile with each other during this season.

"Easter reminds us among others reconciliation and unity because this day was to reconcile us with God. It also reminds us to reconcile with fellow men," he said.

Odongo also called on all the born-again to ensure they take part in the national census due May to enable the government to establish their numbers.

He also appealed to religious leaders to embrace integrity and the culture of accountable leadership.
