Court orders landowner to refund sh287m to buyer

On July 31, 2024, Justice Aisha Naluzze Batala ordered that Onesmus Amanya be refunded the amount with interest from February 14, 2013, at a rate of 10% per annum until full payment is made.

The Land Division of the High Court has directed the proprietor of land in Singo, valued at shillings 340 million, to refund the full amount to the purchaser.
