CDF Kainerugaba congratulates Kyabazinga on 11th coronation anniversary

BUSOGA CORONATION ANNIVERSARY
Uganda's Chief of Defence Forces (CDF), Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba has sent a congratulatory message to the Kyabazinga of Busoga, William Wilberforce Gabula Nadiope IV, ahead of his 11th Coronation Anniversary on Saturday (September 13).
The army commander's message was delivered by a delegation led by Budiope East MP Moses Magogo. Others included the Secretary General of the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU), David Kabanda, who is also the Kasambya County MP.
The Kingdom's Prime Minister, Dr Joseph Muvawala, received them at Igenge Palace, which is the official royal palace for the Busoga monarch.
The Kyabazinga thanked Magogo for supporting PLU, a civic movement founded by Kainerugaba.
He also appreciated the visit and expressed his gratitude to the CDF, whom he fondly referred to as his "big brother".
The delegation included several other current and former MPs from the region, prominent among them being Aminah Mutesi, a senior PLU mobiliser and also NRM flagbearer for the Bugweri Women parliamentary seat.
The coronation anniversary will be celebrated Saturday at the Busoga Kingdom headquarters in Bugembe.
