MOMBASA - Francis Alvin Mweru and Phionah Watsemba turned boring weekdays into a getaway weekend.

Mweru won the biggest prize of a fully sponsored two-night honeymoon destination at the Bride and Groom Expo in July.

Uganda’s flag carrier, Uganda Airlines, flew them back and forth as Twende Uganda sorted out their stay at Southern Palms Beach Resort, in Diani on the Kenyan coast with the Indian Ocean.

The lovers relished a cosy quality and serene time from Wednesday to Friday.
