The long-awaited 16th edition of Bride & Groom kicked off this morning with different exhibitors setting up stalls to offer mouth-watering deals for your dream wedding and nikkah.
This year's focus is on giving couples a complete guide to a successful marriage in a society where separations are becoming common.
The expo will climax on Sunday night. The entrance fee is sh10,000, starting 8:00am up to 10:00pm.

Different exhibitors, sponsors, and partners will also reward the public through daily raffle draws. To participate in the competition, one is required to pay sh5,000 to get a ticket that will enable them to compete for prizes throughout the three days.
For example, on Friday, two couples will win lunch coupons courtesy of Café Javas (CJ), and Crazy Deals will give away two shopping vouchers to two winners.

Another raffle draw will have 10 customised bottles of Bella Wine and a night stay for a couple (B&B) courtesy of Fontis Residences Hotel, Nakasero.
One couple will also win a night’s stay (full board) at Entikko Safari Lodge, Murchison Falls National Park.

More prizes await you on Sunday. They include: vouchers for two winners and a modern refrigerator for one couple courtesy of Crazy Deals.
“Another groom-to-be will win a tailored wedding suit from The Look Bespoke and Bella Wine will again, offer 10 customised wine bottles. That’s not all; two couples will win nights away. One at Fontis Residences Hotel, Nakasero and another (full board) at Entikko Safari lodge in Murchison Falls National Park,” Tamale said.

Father Kiibi, Bebe Cool
Lined up to speak at this year’s edition are Rev. Father Deogratius Kiibi, fertility expert Dr Joseph Muhumuza, Moses Ssali aka Bebe Cool and his wife Zuena, among others.

The speakers will tackle many subjects such as finding the right partners, and fighting infertility, among others.
“For just sh 10,000, we’re offering unmatched value. You get access to a gynaecologist, a lawyer, a cleric, and top-tier entertainment,” Tamale said.
Service providers
For those with upcoming weddings, all service providers will be on-site with mouth-watering offers for wedding gowns, introduction attire, cake, drinks, grooms’ wear, honeymoon destinations, and real estate firms, among others.

Speaking to New Vision at the start of the expo, Brian Byarugaba, head of sales and marketing at Bella Wine, said the company will reward anyone who has ever used its product at a wedding.
“We are also going to exhibit different types of wine that a person can take at different intervals of a meal in phases. Those who will make orders for our wine will be customised according to their wish at Zero cost alongside participating in the raffle drawls for all three days,” he said.
