True joy is greater than happiness.
Psalm 16:9
Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure,
🙆♂️ You need to find the secret of joy, for true joy is far deeper than happiness.

Once we have surrendered all to God, we can feel joy, in spite of our deepest troubles.
Whereas happiness is temporary because it is based on external circumstances, joy is lasting because it is based on God's presence within us.

Almighty God, thank You for the daily presence in our lives. May we find contentment as we avoid basing our lives on circumstances, but on You; may we experience joy above the challenges in life. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
