The team leaders at the Bible Society of Uganda have released the programme for the funeral of the organisation’s deceased General Secretary, Simon Peter Mukhama, who passed on yesterday (Friday, May 12, 2023).

Today Mukhama’s body will be taken to the new Bible House on Bombo Road (Kampala), where an ecumenical funeral function will be held.

At exactly 2:00pm, the body will be taken to All Saints Cathedral, Nakasero for a funeral service.

On Sunday (May 14, 2023), at exactly 3:00pm, there will be a funeral service at the Church of the Resurrection, Bugoloobi, where the deceased has been a congregant.

On Monday (May 15, 2023), Mukhama’s body will be at St. Andrew’s Cathedral, Mbale, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00am.

On Tuesday (May 16, 2023), there will be a funeral service at Holy Trinity Church, Nabumali (Mbale district), subsequent to which burial will take place at the deceased’s home in Nabumali at 2:00pm.
