Kampala Catholic Archbishop Paul Ssemogerere sent a condolence message to the families, relatives and friends of the people who recently perished in Lake Victoria and road crashes.

The archbishop has also mourned Sr Consolata Namusisi, who was serving at Nkozi parish. Namusisi died in her sleep.

The condolences were delivered as Ssemogerere was preaching to hundreds of Christians who thronged Rubaga Cathedral in Kampala on Saturday (August 12, 2023) to witness the ordination of eight priests and 10 deacons.

The Mass started with a procession by the clergy and parents. He was joined by vicar generals: Msgr Charles Kasibante and Msgr Gerald Kalumba, monsignors and several priests.
