Farmers, government agencies, and companies have finished setting up stalls for the Harvest Money Expo, which starts this Friday.
Kololo Ceremonial Grounds is set for the expo.
Exhibitors are ready to receive visitors when the gates open at 8:00 am Friday morning.
The Harvest Money Expo is organised by Vision Group and sponsored by The Netherlands Embassy, Champrisa International, Engineering Solutions Ltd (ENGSOL), National Agricultural Advisory Services (NAADS) and UpFront and the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal husbandry and Fisheries (MAAIF).
Other sponsors include the Bank of Uganda, Parish Development Model (PDM), Private Sector Foundation of Uganda (PSFU), dfcu Bank, aBi Development and the Uganda Investment Authority (UIA).
Julius Turyamujuka from Fertiplus & Bora, which has an attachment to the Netherlands and will exhibit at the Netherlands Village, explains that they are going to exhibit organic fertilizers that aim at protecting the soils.
Miriam Ankunda, a vet from Champrisa International, distributor of Hendrix concentrates, said that they are going to exhibit quality concentrates and will give a discount of 5-10% on their products throughout the three-days of the expo.
The daily entrance fee to the expo is sh10,000; same applies to training sessions for the three days.
