Fourteen people are feared dead after a bus collided with a lorry along the Kampala-Gulu highway last evening.
The accident happened at Bobi, about 20km from Gulu City, when a bus belonging to Opit Bus Company had a head-on collision with a lorry that was reportedly coming from South Sudan.
According to witnesses, the bus was heading to Gulu from Kampala when it collided with the lorry bearing Kenyan registration number plates at about 9.30pm on Tuesday evening. Besides the 14 who have been reported dead, another 40 people sustained injuries during the crash.
