10 Ugandans detained in Zambia

Moments after the group presented their passports to the Zambian immigration officials, they were arrested. The Ugandans were detained and arraigned in court after which the six men were remanded at Kamwala remand prison. The four women were sent to Chimbokaila prison. The women have since been transferred to Mwembeshi Correctional Facility.

Ester Namugambe, Ratib Mugema, Faima Namusuwa, Felex Musimenta, Jordan Agaba, Joseph Ssegujja, Elizabeth Fambe, Jafaali Kasolo, Edson Twineomugisha and Justine Kabanyoro arrived at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport on August 7.
