Wavamuno sues brother over Kabowa property

Kamya, the man at the centre of Wavamuno’s suit, is a man dotted with controversy. On February 29, 1996, Kamya and a gang waylaid a Barclays Bank bullion van at Kitoro on Entebbe Road. The van was transporting $240,000 that had just been flown into Uganda from the UK. During the interception, a police constable, only identified as Wodulo, was shot dead, and the money was stolen. Investigators discovered that Kamya was paid $10,000 shortly after the robbery using cash with serial numbers that matched the stolen banknotes. 

Court documents indicate that Wavamuno is seeking an order declaring his brother a trespasser on the land. He is also seeking an order for vacant possession and eviction of his brother from the land.
