The month of love, February tested socialite Zari Hassan and Shakib Lutaaya’s marriage after it emerged, they unfollowed each other on Instagram.

Recall February (Valentine’s Day, 2018) was also the month Diamond learnt with the rest of us that his relationship with Zari had been consigned to the archives.

While for Shakib it was a video cozying up with city DJ, Alicia, Zari was busy with her baby daddy, Diamond Platnumz sharing videos online.

However, naysayers have been served. The couple flew to Dubai on her way to Mecca for Umrah as she indicated via Snapchat.

Umrah is a voluntary pilgrimage to Mecca done all through the year. It is minor to Hajj. The purpose is to cleanse the soul of a Muslim, and is also a time to ask for forgiveness and pray to Allah.

Zari, however, also threw shade at her critics. “Them: That man won’t take you anywhere. Me: flying to Dubai to meet him because I can sponsor myself. This is how I looolllll #dubai,” she wrote.

The two are seen in a video shuffling around Mecca draped in their Islamic wear. It is the first time they are being seen together since their Instagram unfollowing and photo deletion spree.
