Socialite Zari Hassan and her husband Shakib Lutaaya caused quite a stir for the bigger part of last week following two incidents that, for their timing, sparked speculations about a possible problem in paradise.

First, Zari and her baby daddy of two, singer Diamond Platnumz, shared a video of them matching leisurely while holding hands. 

Then her husband, Shakib, also appeared in a viral video with one DJ, Alisha, licking his face as if a brand of lollipop had just been launched. 

The two videos left the fans of the three characters divided.

It was also then that fans learnt Zari had done away with all Shakib’s photos from her Instagram. He also appeared to have returned a favour. 

A concerned fan who sought to advise Zari against considering a reunion with Diamond, going by her antics, advised her not to destroy her marriage. It forced her to respond about why Shakib’s face isn’t on her Instagram anymore. “He [Diamond] has nothing to do with us.” 

Alisha, the DJ, responded to the viral video shortly after it started spreading on social media like bacteria on a petri dish. “That is an old video. Many years ago,” she posted.

Meanwhile, Zuchu also shortly announced she was done dating Diamond, accusing him of disrespect. Zari, during an episode of Charm offensive last year, hosted Diamond and Zuchu at their home in South Africa.
