When heavy rain poured across Kampala on Friday evening, September 18, it would have been easy for people to stay home.

Instead, they marched to Sheraton Hotel Kampala to witness the presentation night of the regional queens competing for the Miss Uganda crown, turning the evening into a cheerful, joyous one.

The evening was nothing short of applause, with supporters in the audience making acclamations in support of their respective contestants each time they stepped out on stage. The cheers got even louder when Spice Diana appeared on stage, singing her most popular songs.

Brenda Nanyonjo, founder and CEO of the Miss Uganda Foundation, thanked the foundation's official sponsors, StarTimes TV, where viewers can follow the contestants' journey on Makula Kika TV, as well as V&A, the official ambassadors of Miss Uganda for nearly 4 years.

She highlighted that this year's competition is special as the foundation celebrates its 15th anniversary.
