She told various stakeholders that the expo will have zones that speak to the different stages of love, like: Proposal and Romance, Wedding Planning, Honeymoon, Home and Living, and the Family and Lifestyle.

The stakeholders meeting was convened at Piato Restaurant in Nakasero to iron out gaps from previous expos so as to have better and streamlined engagements prior to this year’s expo on June 26 to June 28 at UMA Showgrounds, Lugogo.

Referring to the expo’s theme — "Beyond I do: A journey of love, home and family” — Tukahirwa said the company is targeting more exhibitors from other sectors because after the wedding, couples move on to make a family and build a home.

She urged them to be part of the expo and gain from leveraging on Vision Group’s communication ecosystem, which includes TV, radio, social media platforms, the newspapers and billboards.

“I am calling on all of you to join Uganda’s wedding and lifestyle expo. Together, let’s create meaningful connections and experiences,” she said.

The Vision Group CEO, Don Wanyama, thanked exhibitors for being part of the expo.

“The success of the Bride & Groom Expo is not by chance; it is a direct result of your continued support, commitment, and belief in this platform. Year after year, you show up, you invest, and you grow with us. For that, we are truly grateful,” Wanyama said.

In her response, Tukahirwa said Vision Group would check out the prizes to be won and take the right measures to ensure the expo winners get genuine prizes.

Unia Kamya of Unik Bridals advised that the different exhibitors are placed in places/ stalls that are appropriate for visibility and to ensure safety of their products.
