As the first week of Ramadhan winds up, Muslim women have been advised to adjust their dressing to align with the spirit of the season.

Singer Mansour Semanda, also known as King Saha,  urged Muslim girls to refrain from attracting undue attention from men.

The Mwana Gwe singer emphasised that women can be a significant temptation for men, especially if dressed provocatively, potentially disrupting the fast of many individuals. He implored them to adhere to the modest dressing prescribed for Muslim women.

"Ladies, I urge you to wear long hijabs that reach the ground to avoid tempting us. Avoid clothes that show the shape of your physical body and maintain this attire throughout the day, as fasting is a full-day commitment," Saha advised.

He also called on fellow Muslims to intensify their prayers and supplications during this sacred time, emphasising the importance of seeking blessings from Allah.

Regarding performing during the fasting period, Saha likened it to running one's business, indicating that as a performer, he must continue working, which includes performing.

He also mentioned his intention to record a religious song, specifically a dua aimed at seeking protection from his adversaries.

Like many other Ugandan Muslim artistes, King Saha has consistently expressed his devotion to his religion. Other notable Muslim artistes in this bracket include Mudra De Viral, Eddy Kenzo, Rema Namakula, Naira Ali, Saava Karim, Bebe Cool, and many others.
