TikToker Emmanuella Musimanta, also known as Pretty Nicole, has a reason to smile after several years of public controversies. She has been appointed the brand ambassador for children at the Ministry of Labour, Gender, and Social Development.

On Tuesday, during her visit to the State Minister in Charge of Youth and Children Affairs at his office in Kampala, she was honoured with the appointment. She had visited the minister to request financial support and guidance.

The minister granted Pretty Nicole her wish and promised to pay for her education until the completion of Senior Four. “She has informed me that she has already paid the school fees for her first term, so I offered to pay for the next two terms to enable her to complete her Senior Four,” said Byaruhagare.

During the meeting, Pretty Nicole also expressed her desire to continue her studies in Canada after S.4. “I will offer support for her to go to Canada to learn how to handle children who are tortured and traumatized,” he added. The minister cautioned her and other youth about drug abuse and having sexual relations with older people. Pretty Nicole promised to change her ways and act as an example to other children.

Pretty Nicole came to fame in 2023 when a video in which she was beaten by her friends for “stealing” Queen Kaftah’s boyfriend, Derrick Lwanga, went viral. Queen Kaftah was thereafter sentenced to three years in jail, while Pretty Nicole went back to school.
