TWENTY-FIFTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME
First Reading - Isaiah 5:1-7; God planted His vineyard with love, cleared it of stones, built a tower. He looked for good grapes, for justice, but found bloodshed. The vineyard of the Lord is the house of Israel.

-Second Reading: Philippians 4:6-9; Have no anxiety. Make your needs known to God. The peace of God will guard you. Do what is true, just, pure, and the God of peace will be with you.
-Gospel Acclamation: John 15:16; R/. Alleluia, Alleluia. I chose you to go and bear fruit that will remain, says the Lord.

-Gospel: Matthew 21:33-43 Jesus tells of tenants who beat the servants and killed the son of the landowner to steal the vineyard. So the Kingdom will be taken from them and given to a people who will bear its fruit.
