The Afri Art and Fashion Show is an outstanding event that showcases Uganda's rich and vibrant African art and fashion scene. Widely recognized as the country's premier art and fashion exhibition, it draws both local and international attention.

Beyond being a fashion show, the event encompasses various forms of art, such as crafts, paintings, sculptures, and more. It serves as a platform to celebrate the creativity and talent of African artists and designers, bringing attention to their unique perspectives and cultural influences.

One of the notable features of the Afri Art and Fashion Show is its strong emphasis on sustainability. The project also advocates for responsible and ethical fashion practices, with designers actively supporting and collaborating with women and youth artisans. By empowering these artisans, the show fosters economic growth and preserves cultural heritage.

The fashion project is organized by Trillion Looks Store, a social enterprise dedicated to women and youth's economic empowerment. Through this project, it celebrates the creativity and talent of Ugandan artisans and designers, giving them a platform to showcase their work.

During the 2023 Afri Art Show at MOTIV, more than 35 young men and women were elegantly dressed in African-inspired fashion clothing and accessories. The runway showcased a variety of items, including products made from backcloth, banana fiber, raffia, recycled paper, sisal kikoyi, and kitenge fashion products. These unique pieces were crafted by different women and youth from diverse regions such as Bigodi in Fort Portal, young designers in Kampala, and various artisans from rural areas in Uganda.
