Little miss beauties grace Toto Christmas Festival

It is only at the Toto Christmas Festival that you will find a vibrant blend of talent and beauty. This year,Uganda’s young beauty queens have graced the event, adding glamour and inspiration to the event.
Alongside having fun, these young queens hope to instil confidence in other children and encourage them to pursue their dreams.
Who says queens cannot have fun?
Catherine Karungi, the Teen Top Model Uganda, says they will take part in the competitions and enjoy the various activities around, such as swimming, face painting and camel rides. Karungi adds that she hopes to speak to fellow children and encourage them to join beauty pageants, as they provide exposure and help promote talent.
Can a child protect the environment from devastation?
Yes, they can, says Georgina Nassali, the Tourism Queen Uganda, who believes so. She hopes to encourage her peers to love the environment and keep it clean, noting that doing so helps prevent disease.
For children who dream of travelling the world through their talents, Abigail Daniella Muyomba, the Little Miss United World, is living proof.
A Primary Six pupil at Namugongo Boarding Primary School, Muyomba, recently travelled to Dubai to participate in the Little Miss & Little Mister United World International Children’s Festival of Culture and Performing Arts. Muyomba’s advice to children is simple: never give up on your dreams, because what you dream is what you can achieve.
