Levixone urges Ugandans to vote for him in Kora awards

Gospel artiste Levizone has asked Ugandans to vote for him in the ongoing Kora Top 40 award selection, which started in December 2023.

He said he has the potential to win the award having been inspired by Wipolo singer, pastor George Okudi, who won it in 2003.

“Many years ago, Okudi won this award and paved the way for us to win this award too. To all dreamers, never stop dreaming. I have been nominated in this award in two categories of Best Gospel Artiste and Best Live Performing Artiste,” Levixone said on his social media handles.

Singer Azawi was nominated in the category of Best Live Performance.

Other Ugandan creatives in the awards are Nihiloxica under the category of Best Traditional Dancers.

Joshua Baraka’s Nana remix and  Laika Music's video of her Nzuuno song were nominated in the category of Best Music Video of the Year.

Baraka’s Nana remix is also nominated in the category of Best Collabo of the Year.

Zari Hassan is in the category of Best Influencer of the Year.

The winners will be announced on March 1, 2024.
