Jamaican dancehall star Konshens is returning to Uganda for another dose of high-energy performances, teaming up with South African Amapiano heavyweight DJ Maphorisa for a December concert expected to electrify Kampala’s festive season.
Dubbed Vibe Republic, the show is scheduled for December 11, 2026, at Lugogo Cricket Oval, bringing together two African and Caribbean music favourites on one stage.
Talent Africa Group, one of the organisers, has launched the first phase of ticket sales, offering music lovers discounted prices as the countdown to the concert begins.
The event is also being promoted under the Explore Uganda initiative, with Swangz Avenue among the brands featured in the promotional campaign.
According to the organisers, Vibe Republic aims to give people across the region a reason to travel, connect and discover Uganda. Beyond the music, the event seeks to showcase the country’s hospitality, food, culture, warmth and natural beauty.
