Balaam Barugahara has revealed some quirky news about himself following his recent appointment as State Minister for Gender, Labour and Social Development in charge of Children and Youth Affairs.

He said he forgot to wear a belt at the first events that he attended as a minister.

"I am not used to wearing suits. I was invited to one event recently. I left home not knowing that I didn't’t have a belt on. On reaching the event, we were called for a photo moment. That's when I realised that I wasn't wearing a belt. These things of wearing suits are not easy. I am now learning although I miss my shirt," Balaam said.
