The Homes and Construction Expo 2023 will take place on October 14th and 15th, at the Kololo Ceremonial Grounds, under the theme “Innovations, Standards and Opportunities”.

The entry fee is sh10,000, and with it, the opportunity for participants to attend panel discussions and seminars free of charge. The two-day event will feature experts dissecting issues pertaining to land shortage and how to avoid fraud. It will attract real estate developers/agents, financial services, providers of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, bathroom, kitchen, paint, and building products.

CNBM Roofing System will be there!

CNBM Roofing System is a company that is dealing in remarkable building and construction projects and has partnered with some of the biggest projects in the country. CNBM, who will be among the many exhibitors in the Homes and Construction Expo, are manufactures of roofing materials and steel structures for modern homes.

Benus Akankwasa, the CNBM Roofing System sales executive believes that their company has the capacity to provide all kinds of steel and tiles. Some of the accessories include stone-coated tiles, which is an advanced roofing material made from clay brick. It deals in tiles of all colours; like green, black, red, black and white, chocolate among others.

Akankwasa assures visitors to the Homes and Construction Expo of good customer care service, negotiable prices, and expert knowledge about roofing technology and materials. “Our tiles are easy to maintain. They are non-clean products.  Compared to clay bricks, they are economical and beautiful,” Akankwasa says.

Commenting on the innovations taking place in the construction industry, Architect Abdu-Wahab Nyanzi said developers are slowly grasping the importance of using professional service providers to handle architectural projects.

“Construction is a cost-intensive venture; therefore, projects should not be left in the hands of armatures and pretenders.” He also said the world today has unlimited access to information. The Internet has exposed people to some unique and very beautiful architectural designs, hence the need to challenge the old practices.

Other real estate service providers, who have already booked space as exhibitors like ABJA Estates are ready to engage with expo visitors in matters of tracing and avoiding land-related fraud.

Mark Mayiga, the marketing manager from ABJA says Uganda is plagued with rampant cases of land grabbing both in the rural and urban areas. However, with the right information that is going to be disseminated during the expo, many citizens will benefit, especially those in property management, development, and storage management respectively.

“We shall also unveil our new properties for sale before the public officially at the expo and the first clients will be given some surprise offers,” he promises.

Hope Nuwagaba, the Vision Group Head of Sales, says the Homes and Construction Expo is the first of its kind in Uganda and will offer a lot of opportunities for visitors.

“We are going to use all our platforms to serve our customers and audiences, offering the best in the industry,” she said.
