Godfrey Kwezi leaves worshippers on floor at Nsiima Live concert

Gospel singer Godfrey Kwezi delivered a powerful and spiritually filled performance at his Nsiima Live concert, which he held at Imperial Royale Hotel in Kampala on Saturday, 29 August, 2026.
The highlight was that it was a one-hour concert. It was the emotions he raised within an hour that made it outstanding. The knees gave way, as some preferred to sit on the floor. Others lay down.
Kwezi mostly performed worship songs by different artistes in western Uganda before taking a break.

“I travelled all the way from my country home in Kamwenge district to come and attend this concert. I haven’t even reached my home in Kampala to rest because I wanted to be part of this event,” said Florence Tumweze, the director of Emburara Lodge and also the chief guest. She brought all her children to the Kampala concert.
The second session was a performance of his songs, unlike the one before, which had only renditions. Popular tracks like Awo Woli, Byona Bibyo, Kanvuname, Yesu Osobolera Ddala and Tojjulukuka had many back on their feet after the unnecessary speeches.
The third and last session was dedicated to praise and dance music, with songs like Ekitiibwa Kidde eri Katonda waffe, Ntenda Katonda Byankoledde and ended with Nsiima, a song which he dedicated to his fans, supporters and partners who supported the concert.
